Technology to share memories:

If you have a smartphone or tablet, download the My House of Memories app. The My House of Memories app allows you to explore objects from the past and share memories together. It can be used by anyone, but has been designed for, and with, people living with dementia and their carers. Here’s a video explaining how it works.

With advances in technology it is possible to travel the world from the comfort of your sofa!

The amazingly intact remains of the 15th-century Inca citadel stand atop an 8,000ft mountain in southern Peru. Machu Picchu (meaning ‘old peak’ in Quechua) was a royal estate for the emperor Pachacuti. This stunning website allows you to ‘stand’ in various locations and rotate your view in any direction, from the stonework to the greenery of the slopes.
